PKC CHILDCARE GUIDELINES
The Childcare Strategy Team is committed to demonstrating an ongoing commitment to high quality staff development across the sector. The CPD website contains a range of courses which will support your professional development, enabling you to continue to provide a high quality service and helping to develop your professional aspirations.
Checking for Course Changes
Notification of changes to the courses will be sent to you by email. However, make sure you check the system on a regular basis to ensure that you keep up to date with the venues, dates and times of your courses.
External Training
We have listed some links to external training web sites in the recommended section. These sites will allow you to view courses being run by providers such as Dundee University Education Department, Perth College/University of the Highlands and Islands, Skillpath, Children in Scotland and Concept Training Ltd. You can make a request to book an external course using the CPD system and your staff development coordinator can approve it in the usual way. You or your SDC should then contact the company directly to book a place.
